![]() ![]() If you are having issues with Standard AI, you should pay more attention to the basics. I do this with a friend, we "hold the bridge" long enough for the AI to arrive, after that it's a piece of cake.Īs you said, the AI will drain resources on heavies and lots of infantry, but your allies will arrive in time to drive them back, using this short window. Use AI allies at the same level as the opponent. ![]() There always ends up being like a 2 minute period where they have no units out and then suddenly massive amounts of tanks just retaking the map. not even 10 mins in an OKW ai had multiple tanks when not even two minutes ago they were infantry blobbing constantly. we get map advantage and then start fortifying and with no supply line they magically have late game units in mid game and in bulk. See i would believe this if it wasnt for the clear issue that it does still cheat on standard. Doesn't really matter if they can build multiple tanks earlier, when they constantly throw them away. Generally the AI is terrible at using what it has, regardless of how much it can or cannot produce. Originally posted by ShodaN:Expert AI cheats resources. And overall keeps units exposed and vulnerable far too long. Doesn't properly position weapon teams in advance. Most definitly has no idea how and when to stay in cover. AI is a pushover when you position your units well and keep them alive. Something the AI tends to build all game despite those units being midgame vehicles, that shouldn't be spammed. Doesn't really matter what you believe, when it is both common knowledge and has been proven many times over by looking it up in the game files, what the bonuses to AI are on each difficulty level.Īlso those "tanks" are most likely just Luchs and Pumas, which are OKW light tanks.
